Japan-Taiwan Bilateral Polymer Symposium 2017 : JTBPS 2017 will be held in Yonezawa, Japan from September 5-8.

This bilateral symposium among polymer scientists in Taiwan and Japan was established in consideration of developing long-term collaboration and friendship between Japan and Taiwan polymer societies. The first symposium, which was organized by Prof. Wen-Chang Chen (Nat. Taiwan Univ.), Prof. Akira Hirao (Tokyo Tech.), and Prof. Toyoji Kakuchi (Hokkaido Univ.), was held with more than 40 invited lectures and 30 poster presentations in Taiwan, April 23-25, 2009. This is the 8th meeting of the series and held at Yamagata University, Yonezawa, Japan. The present symposium aims at continuous international academic exchange between Japanese and Taiwanese scientists in the advanced polymer science fields. The participants actively exchanged their opinions on the synthesis, structure, and properties of novel high-performance polymeric materials, earth-friendly polymeric materials, and biocompatible polymeric materials.
